SPECIAL SALE UPGRADES:
1. AUTOMATIC UPGRADE included
for '86 to '95 first generation swirl vortec heads for
low and mid range torque (see photos). The
great news is these first generation Swirl Vortec heads
will also accommodate all your serpentine drive belt
assemblies!
2. Optional $495 Upgrade:
Ask for '96 to 2002 second generation vortec heads upgrade
(heart shaped chamber) for low, mid range, and high
end torque. The second generation
Vortec heads also accommodate serpentine drive belt
assemblies!
Note that
on both the first and second generation Vortec heads,
the valve cover bolts are down the center of the valve
cover, unlike the Old School heads.
3. Upgrade for Old School
look with valve cover bolts on the outside is optional,
depending upon availability. (Like the old 327 and early
350 performance heads such as the nostalgic Fuelie Double
Hump Fuel Injected Heads.)

This Power 2* Engine Combination
is a great replacement Mild
Street and Off Road. This engine has a strong low
end torque - food mid-range and mileage. Good to
fair idle for trucks and 4 x 4s.
Comp or Howards Cam Kit puts out 334 hp from
700-800 rpm to 4600-4800 rpm,
with a
strong 384 ft lbs of torque.
Correct
carburetor for this engine is 600 cfm, 670 cfm
or 700 cfm.
Lower HPs: Comp or Howards Cam Kit CAM puts out from 270 to 300
hp off idle at 600 to 700 rpm to 4200 to 4400 rmp
and 346 ft lbs of torque.
Correct carburetor for this engine is 600 cfm, 650 cfm
or 670 cfm.
You
will NOT NEED a stall speed converter!
This Engine is a 4-bolt Seasoned

one year written warranty. Buyer pays actual shipping
costs if unable to pick up engine from our shop in Phoenix
AZ. Some state freight restrictions apply. DEPOSIT
REQUIREMENT IS 60% DOWN, PAYMENT IN FULL WHEN ENGINE
