A "Crate Engine" means "Intake to Pan." These are all turnkey packages; which means carburetor, air cleaner, distributor, plugs, plug wires, water pump, harmonic balancer are all included; as shown in the photos.
(Please note the photos show a velocity stack to give us correct air volume for both banks while the engine is being Fast Tracked, and broken in properly. This gives extreme accuracy with the air and fuel mixture computer for supertuning.)

This Power 3® engine combination would be a great replacement mild street for a Mustang, Cougar, Fairlane, Gran Torino, Galaxy, or Thunderbird.

The 410 HP engine (as featured in the photos to the right) has a mid to rough idle, and its Comp or Howards Cam Kit cam puts out 410 HP at 4400 rpm and 458 - 460 ft lbs of torque. You WILL need a speed stall converter.

The 370 HP engine has a Comp or Howards Cam Kit cam with a fair to mid idle, that at 4200 rpm gives 406 - 410 ft lbs of torque.
You will NOT need a speed stall converter. This is an excellent engine for every day driving!

Use one of these engines for your Thunderbird, Galaxy, Mustang, other musclecar, street, hot rod, kit car. They have a GREAT OLD SCHOOL SOUND.

2. SEAL POWER PISTONS 8.5, 8.9, 9.0, 9.1, 9.2, 9.4, 9.6, 9.8 compration ratios.
   10.1 or higher compression ratios are for ALUMINUM HEAD applications.
3. New Edelbrock, Weiland, Top Street, Holly etc. Performer dual plane intake manifold.
   Note: Lower horsepower engines have 4 barrel iron intake manifolds.

MACHINE LABOR includes:

5. Blocks are furnace burned to thoroughly clean the engine blocks, and then are shot abraided.
6. Jet vat block and magnifluxing.
7. Remove and replace all freeze plugs.
8. Remove and replace gallery plugs.
9. Remove and replace cam bearings.
10. Custom centerline boring of block, if needed, at an extra cost.
    True 90 degree V8 centerline boring.
11. Power hone to fit pistons and rings.
12. Custom crank Micro polish radius oil holes.
13. Rods pressed off, then heat fitted.
14. Rods checked for alignment ARP Rod Bolts Installed on higher HP engines.
15. Street spin balancing and blueprinting.

This engine has a one year written warranty. Buyer pays actual shipping costs if unable to pick up engine from our shop in Phoenix AZ. Some state freight restrictions apply. DEPOSIT REQUIREMENT IS 60% DOWN, PAYMENT IN FULL WHEN ENGINE IS DONE. (GET A DISCOUNT WITH A DIRECT DEPOSIT!) We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, money orders, cashier's checks, and direct deposit. Business or personal checks must clear prior to shipping. Arizona residents must add 8.6% sales tax.
